  • Rush of Fall

The given theme for all the artistic projects at the Habitations Jeanne-Mance is “nature and vegetation”. This first mural of the serie Les saisons montréalaises (The Montreal Seasons) depicts a contemporary landscape highlighting the beautiful autumn colours.

  • Breath of Spring

Artists David Guinn and Phillip Adams completed the Habitations Jeanne Mance (HJM) series Les saisons montréalaises (Montreal Seasons) with an ode to Spring. The work immortalizes Montrealers taking advantage of the colours, odours, and picnics and flowering trees that characterize the arrival of good weather and of spring.

  • Winter Haze

The given theme for all the artistic projects at the Habitations Jeanne-Mance was “nature and vegetation”. This artistic guideline was developed with the collaboration of the Corporation d’habitation Jeanne-Mance as part of a global improvement plan that aims to position the complex as the green heart of the downtown area. This second mural of the serie Les saisons montréalaises (The Montreal Seasons) depicts a contemporary landscape highlighting a dramatic winter scene.

  • Cessez-le-feu

The completion of the Mural “Cessez-le-feu” (Ceasefire) beautifully marks the conclusion of an important series which artist Phillip Adams began in 2012 at the Habitations Jeanne-Mance that is based on the four elements.

  • Au fil de l’eau

In keeping with the series of murals entitled Les Saisons montréalaises at the Habitations Jeanne-Mance housing project, MU has initiated another group of murals based on the four elements. Phillip Adams created this second mural of the group, with water as its central theme (the first, entitled L’air du temps, was also produced by Adams in 2012). It is located on Ontario Street, at the intersection of Hôtel-de-ville Avenue.
