The Junction – Pollination Street Art

MR Circle: Francine Freeman

Myself and my art students spent our end of semester creating sidewalk street art in The Junction consisting of flowers, bees and butterflies at 7 street corners.

The experience was incredible to be able to show my students that art is not just a painting on a wall, but can be seen and displayed everywhere! Their excitement for the project was inspiring and so were the pedestrian’s that showed so much joy, encouragement and enjoyment of having youth beautify Torontonian’s everyday routes.

We want to thank The Junction BIA for accepting our proposal for this project and Royal Crown Academic School for the support in having our students take part in this project.
