RH150 Storage Bunker Mural – Town Park
Completed: August 2023The City of Richmond Hill commissioned Phoebe Lau to paint Storage Bunker at Town Park in celebration of “RH150”, the City’s 150th Anniversary. For each project, artists were asked to capture Richmond Hill’s past, present and future to provide a sense of social connectivity and community pride.
Phoebe Lau is a Markham-based visual artist. Her works are flowy, colourful and fun. She is always curious about relationships to spaces and objects, and interested in how we can make the built environment more sustainable, interactive and inclusive to enhance the wellbeing of people and wildlife.
