RH150 Bell Box Mural – Richmond St. 101-1

The City of Richmond Hill commissioned Gloria Hope to paint Bell Box at Richmond Street in celebration of “RH150”, the City’s 150th Anniversary. For each project, artists were asked to capture Richmond Hill’s past, present and future to provide a sense of social connectivity and community pride.

Gloria Hope is an Indigenous visual artist, sculptor, mural painter, author/illustrator and facilitator of art and nature. Gloria’s focus is centered on connecting children to the natural world, merging the elements of nature, art, storytelling and visualization to stir the imagination.
