“Creature Medicine, pisiskiwâyisᐱᓯᐢᑭᐋᐧᔨᐢmaskihkîyᒪᐢᑭᐦᑮᕀ, is based on reimagined Cree and Métis myths surrounding the idea that we share this planet Earth with other beings that exist among us in different realms; traveling from either party to perspective realms by way of portals, dreams and ceremony. In this story, Mannegishi (one of the sacred little people), Kahkakiw Nâpesis (raven boy/trickster) and Roogaroo (shape shifter) peer out from their portal into our world. These creatures are here to teach us valuable medicine that will manifest in a healthy, symbiotic relationship with mother earth.”
