Aerosol painting is one form of spray painting; it leaves a smooth, even coat, unlike many traditional rolled and brushed paints. Graffiti artists are known to use spray paint because the medium is quick, permanent, and portable.

Mique Michelle completed “Humanity B4 Borders” for the 2022 Halifax Mural Festival. The mural features evergreen branches and cones to symbolize Halifax’s connection to Boston. To thank Boston for their aid following the 1917 explosion in the harbour, Halifax sends a Christmas tree every year. The mural also features a loon, strawberries, and the Mi’kmaw name for Halifax, Kjipuktuk.
Created by Ali Khoda as part of the Splintered Craft youth art project run by the Skookum Jim Friendship center, this mural is located on the side of a historic building at 305 Wood St. overlooking La Page Park. Le Page Park hosts a summer music series presented by Music Yukon. The mural is across the street from the iconic Yukon Theatre.

‘The Hero’ mural, crafted by the artistic talents of Hardthirteen, Trevor Peters, and Annaliza Toledo, not only ranks as their largest creation but also signifies a monumental achievement for EMF. It is a striking work of art, radiating both immense presence and boundless inspiration.
Two story mural completed. Inspired to bring some sunshine to cold winter days, this mural was spray painted with Montana Cans and improvised the entire process.
