We had a tremendous response of applicants for our 2013 season of Leadership Training in Mural Making, and this year’s class is made up of 18 students – a variety of talented emerging artists who are ready and eager to engage in learning hands-on mural making techniques and project management skills.
So far, our class has covered:
Bus tour of Mural Routes murals,
Equity & Diversity Training,
Design and Composition,
Meet n Greet presentation skills,
Budgeting for Mural Projects,
On-site Mural Painting,
and Community & Client relations.

Leadership Training in Mural Making is part of Mural Routes continuum of Educational programs and resources. This program is a 60hr total certificate course provided at no cost to participants aged 16-29 with a background in visual arts or arts project management. Funding provided by Ontario Trillium Foundation and co-hosted by the Art Gallery of Ontario – Weston Family Learning Centre.
