The mystical and natural elements of the artwork pay tribute to the beauty of the local area’s homes, trails, parks, ponds, people and the sun and moon as a global connection between all forms of life. Each element’s unique and distinct personality is intertwined, reflecting the Baby Point community.
This unique Art-Nouveau mural is designed to bring visitors around the corner to explore more of the Chemainus Public Market.
My vision was that the floral theme would bring light and colour to the area, especially during cold and long Calgary winters. In addition to beautifying the city, the painting project encourages Calgarians to embrace fine art into their busy, everyday lives.
