Mural Art Showcase- April 23

You are invited to our upcoming Mural Art Showcase, featuring the designs of our Introduction to Mural Art program participants!

Introduction to Mural Art is the first program of our newly-launched Mural Art Learning Institute (MURALi).The Introduction program connects basic art and design techniques to the practical skills of mural making, empowering community members of all ages and backgrounds to participate in public wall art projects. Over the past six weeks, the participants at McGregor Park have developed their skills in areas such as drawing, painting, stenciling, and enlarging techniques, and have brought these skills to the creation of large-scale collaborative mural designs.

The artists will be present to share and discuss their work.

The showcase will take place on April 23rd, 2016 at McGregor Park Community Centre (2231 Lawrence Ave E, Scarborough, ON) from 1-3pm.
