Painted along the back of a fence that is highly visible from the road this piece has 2 lettering pieces (one Slurm and the other artist is unknown) on either side of a fox. On the far right side is a some text that reads “Crazy Like A Fox”.

A memorial mural produced to preserve the memory of local graffiti artist Holden Courage. The piece was created by Holden’s friends and mother, who used memorial funds to bring it to life. The mural includes Holden’s tags and tattoos, as well as his portrait. It was created on the day of the Vancouver Mural Festival in 2017.

This mural is located on the Main Street Project Emergency Shelter, painted by artists Peatr Thomas and Muuke Valcourt. The colous used within the syllabics of the mural were swatched from the colours of the ProtectOur PeopleMB campaign. This campaign’s goal was to provide vaccines for First Nations communities across the province. The syllabics read “”Nanakchiishinam (na-na-ka-chii-shi-nam), meaning “”Protect Us/People”” in Anishinaabewomin, the language of the Anishinaabe people.
