Mural Routes is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting three series of online mosaic making workshops for seniors who reside in Scarborough in 2023. Mosaic artist Cristina Delago will lead a total of 10 workshops per series in which participants will work on a small mosaic keepsake for themselves, as well as one larger piece to contribute to a community mosaic project that will be assembled at the end of the series.
Workshops will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with their respective times on the following dates:
DATES:
Series 4: SCARBOROUGH RESIDENTS
January 30th – February 20th
1:30pm-4:00pm
Series 5: SCARBOROUGH RESIDENTS

Mural Routes will provide all the materials needed to participate in the program. Participants will be able to pick up their kits from Mural Routes’ office (1859 Kingston Road) during the dates/times provided upon registration.
Although the program takes place virtually, we have planned an in-person session for grouting in the Ellesmere/Warden area on the last day of each of the series. Participants can keep the materials provided, except for the tile nippers, which need to be returned during the in-person grouting session.
We are also able to provide some participants with the tech equipment necessary to join the online workshops.
