‘Faces’ is located on the northwestern corner of the Lumsden and Westlake intersection in East York. Understated and exquisite, this signal box displays colourful portraits of 20 individuals of differing backgrounds, rendered in the artist’s curly and whimsical style, surrounded by black outlines of flowers and leaves on a white backdrop.

Artist’s Statement: “I finished painting the traffic box outside of @oldscoolgeneralstore at Lumsden and westlake ave in my own hood. Grateful to have been assigned this particular box outside of this amazing Community hub. Representation matters and I’m honoured to contribute to this corner in a colourful and uplifting (hopefully) way.”
