Produite par MU, la murale Architecture scolaire a été créée par Roadsworth et réalisée avec la collaboration de 20 élèves de secondaire 3, 4 et 5, ainsi que Isabelle Duguay (éducatrice artistique) et William-Patrick (assistant-muraliste).

Véritable ode aux fournitures scolaires classiques, l’œuvre indique dorénavant de façon ludique l’entrée des élèves de l’école secondaire Saint-Laurent (édifice Émile-Legault).

Poursuivant l’exploration spatiale qui qualifie ses œuvres, Roadsworth utilise ici l’architecture bétonnée de l’arche pour créer un jeu d’illusions avec des fournitures aux proportions réelles, mais format géant.

Ce projet a été rendu possible grâce à la collaboration de Mesdames Laurence Faidutti et Ann-Lisa Kissi, enseignantes en arts plastiques; et de Mme Christine Touzin, conseillère pédagogique à la Commission Scolaire Marguerite-Bourgeoys.

Produced by MU, the mural Architecture scolaire was created by Roadsworth and painted with the collaboration of 20 students (secondary 3, 4 and 5), and Isabelle Duguay (art educator) and William Patrick (assistant muralist).

Ode to traditional school supplies, the artwork now indicated in a playful way the students entry to St.Laurent High School.

Pursuing the space exploration defining his work, Roadsworth used by the concrete architecture of the arch to create illusions with actual proportions but giant format supplies.

This project was made possible with the collaboration of Ms. Laurence Faidutti and Ann-Lisa Kissi, visual arts teaches; and Ms. Christine Touzin, educational advisor at the Commission scolaire Marguerite-Bourgeoys.
