FPMONKEY (Julia YH) is a muralist and illustrator born and raised in Toronto, with years of experience living and creating abroad. As a natural explorer, and inspired by all ranges of human life, FPMONKEY’s expressions are richly diverse and are often bold and colourful, encapsulating different worlds with a surrealist and fantastical flair. FPMONKEY reflects human imagination, concepts and connections, with a sense of fun and play. Through her artwork, she explores different perspectives and expressions, with an emphasis on Asian culture of which her roots are from. Outside of art, FPMONKEY is an anthropology graduate and is a certified Montessori teacher.
