Piece by Piece: Mosaics for Seniors 2024/25 – Series 1
Mural Routes is pleased to present the latest series in our mosaic workshops for seniors, with funding provided by the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program.
For this program participants will work in person at East End Arts with experienced mosaic mural artist Cristina Delago to create one of a kind mosaic art pieces.
Participants will develop mural-making skills by working on a small mosaic keepsake for themselves as well as a mosaic panel to contribute to a large community mural project, which is usually installed indoors in a community space.
START DATE: November 5, 2024
END DATE: December 5, 2024
TIME: Tuesdays & Thursdays 1:30pm-4:00pm
FORMAT: 10 sessions, 2.5 hours each
LOCATION:
East End Arts – 450 Broadview Ave. Toronto, ON M4K 2N3
Please note: East End Arts location is fully accessible for walkers/wheelchairs and has washrooms on the main level.
