Executive Director Announcement
Dear Community,
It is with great excitement that I write to you today as the Chair of the Board of Mural Routes to share some fantastic news regarding our organization’s leadership. I am pleased to announce the appointment of Kim Dayman as Executive Director, effective October 1, 2025.
Kim has been a deeply valued member of the Mural Routes team since April 2023 and we are pleased to promote her to the newly created Executive Director position. Kim has a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to our mission. With over 18 years of experience in the arts and culture sector, she has a proven track record in program management and organizational development, making her the ideal candidate to lead our organization into its next chapter.
I want to express my gratitude to all of you who have been steadfast in your support of our Mural Routes. The Board is excited by Kim’s vision for the future of Mural Routes, and we believe that under Kim’s leadership, we will continue to make significant strides toward our goals and expand our impact in the community.

Dear Mural Routes Community,
We are entering a new chapter at Mural Routes as we bid farewell to Marta Keller-Hernandez, our Managing Director.
I am honoured to step into the role of Executive Director and continue to grow with our vibrant community of artists, partners, and supporters. Stepping into this role feels both exciting and humbling. I am grateful for this opportunity, and it is a privilege to build on the incredible work that has already been accomplished here. Having served in a programming capacity for the organization for the past two years, I have learned a great deal and look forward to learning even more in my new role.
Along with the Board of Directors, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to Marta, whose leadership, dedication, and vision have guided Mural Routes through meaningful growth, impact, and during some very difficult times. Marta’s hard work has strengthened this organization in countless ways, and I feel fortunate to be building on the incredible foundation she has created.
As I begin this new chapter, I look forward to listening, learning, and collaborating with all of you. Mural Routes has always been about more than walls—it’s about storytelling, connection, and transformation—and I am excited to carry that spirit forward with all of you. Together, we will continue to nurture creativity, foster connection, and ensure that Mural Routes remains a place where art and community thrive.
