This site holds a lot of history. This mural was commissioned by the Rubin brothers in 1962 for the façade of their department store. It was created by Spanish-born Canadian artist Jordi Bonet. His signature ceramic, bronze and aluminum mosaic are displayed all over the world. The building is a designated heritage property.
