
The Haus of Bellefleur
Stephanie Bellefleur is a Contemporary Visual Artist of colour who was born in Venezuela, South America, lives in Willow Bunch, Saskatchewan and runs her Business The Haus of Bellefleur in Toronto, Ontario. As an experienced Visual Artist, Arts Administrator and Production Coordinator; within the work of heritage, charitable organizations, municipalities, and business associations. Ms.Bellefleur has acquired a thorough knowledge of the principles pertaining to the specific areas of public art placemaking. In addition to Stephanie’s relevant work experience she is also a certified reiki practitioner, world traveler, entrepreneur, mother, and basically a straight up hustler.
Stephanie’s artistic practice incorporates bold colours with strong graphic lines, Great attention is lent to capturing the organic process of one’s life’s experiences turning them into artistic healing manifestations.The artist’s key mandates for The Haus of Bellefleur are to provide accessibility to the works through public art place making, conscious elements of diversity through design and ongoing mentorship and capacity building components for youth and the community at large. Stephanie is connected to the purpose that the identity of her work is to celebrate and unify the Artist’s Indigenous Roots and upbringing in the prairies. Fine Art traditions from her educational background in collaboration with her experience tied to city building and civic engagement that is ultimately related to street art culture. Stephanie has created a contemporary style that embodies both scale, colour therapy, elegance, and grit. As a contributing member in good standing she holds representation through CARFAC Professional Artists and relevant memberships with Art Organization Mural Routes along with Artscape Daniels Launchpad in Toronto, Ontario.
Stephanie holds qualifications in Design, Gemmology, Fine Arts and Aerial Heights Platforms. She has been hired to create for Municipalities Both Toronto and Markham, Non Profits, Facebook, Skechers, New Balance, Vancouver & Hamilton BIA, Daniel Spectrum, the University of Toronto business School and The Baycrest Foundations Brain Project for Alzhimers in 2018, to which One Million Dollars were raised. Stephanie's most relevant high impact projects include contributing to the 8 “story” Phlegm mural at Yonge and St.Clair, the Roncesvalles Bridge alongside Chicago artist Justice Roe and her colorful works for the Pan Am Path at Cherry and Lakeshore under the support of late Councillor Pam Maconnell. Most recently, Stephanie has contributed to the unique 23 story “Equilibrium Mural” alongside International Muralist Okuda San Miguel.
Stephanie’s personal pledge to positively stanchion diversity, inclusion, and equity in order to create space for sustainability in the art sector is what lead her to the field of choice. Stephanie’s background and professional relevant experience allows for a productive, bright and introspective and energetic experience of artistic works. Ms. Bellefleur offers services in both art commissions, workshop facilitation, speaking engagements and consultation, for large scale production development. Stephanie is humbled to serve the public in order to continue to progress in a spectrum of unity and colour with use of the arts.
