When not creating art, I enjoy spending time outdoors camping, hiking, fishing, kayaking, and skiing. Natural imagery is collected and then transferred to canvas and paper by means of paint and printmaking. My style is constantly evolving, and I enjoy trying out new mediums and techniques.
I have been professionally painting murals for three years, with a handful of mural experience pre-2020. In 2021 I assisted muralist, birdO, in painting his 10,000+ sq ft mural in downtown Calgary, facilitated by the Beltline Urban Murals Project (BUMP). For this project, I took fall protection and swingstage training. I also have scissor and boom lift training, and experience with scaffolding. The majority of my public works are in Calgary, however, in 2021 I painted in my first mural festival, Meet The Street, in Red Deer, Alberta. Some smaller-scale mural projects I have been a part of include the Northern Reflections Augmented Reality Window Exhibition, Sunnyside Murals Project, and Palimpshed Project.
In 2022 I traveled for a couple months and decided to paint some street art on legal graffiti walls. I painted in Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide Australia, as well as London England. This project improved my aerosol skills and helped me define my style.
