WOMEN IN MURAL ART: BUILDING CAREERS
Mural Routes and East End Arts are hosting Women in Mural Art: Building Careers – curated by artists Fiya Bruxa and FATSPATROL. This is an opportunity for mural artists and mural art enthusiasts in Canada to hear, learn and network with established women mural artists working on an international scale. Guest Artists include: Lauren YS aka @squid.licker, Vanessa AGANA Espinoza ( @dj_agana), Jasmin Siddiqui aka @hera_herakut, with more to be confirmed.
This program will take place April 27-28, 2024 in Toronto (location TBC).
On April 27th, we will host a full day of speaker talks and panel discussion which will be open to the public. More information on the registration coming soon!
On April 28th, we will host a community gathering where Canadian women mural artists will be able to engage in conversation with the guest artists and with each other. The goal is to provide a space for candid conversations around career growth and to share knowledge and exchange experiences that allow participants to advance in their careers.
The artists participating in the April 28th community gathering will be selected through a Call for Artists – more information below.
