Introduction to Mural Art: SCHC & Scarborough

Mural Routes and Community Arts Guild co-present Introduction to Mural Art in partnership with SCHC and The Hub.

Introduction to Mural Art is a free visual art learning program for all ages and abilities. Participants learn basic art, design, and mural-making skills from professional artists, gaining the skills and confidence to participate in public art projects in their communities.

Introduction to Mural Art consists of seven workshops. Workshop topics include: drawing & painting techniques, colour theory, design challenges, stencil creation & printing, enlarging techniques and large-scale collaborative final projects.

Wednesday, March 22, 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Wednesday, March 29, 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Wednesday, April 5, 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Wednesday, April 12, 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm

Participant Limit: 25 people

Registration deadline: February 22, 2023, at midnight.

*Priority will be given to Scarborough Residents
