Born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1988. He graduated from Cairo University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. However, art has been his all-time passion. After graduation, the tedious corporate work did not satisfy his creative urges. Hence, he decided to study art in order to pursue his quest as a visual artist, and transition from amateur to professional. Accordingly, he had art classes in the American University in Cairo, in the School of Continuing Education, with the renowned Egyptian artist, Ayman El Semary. Then, he had additional still-life and landscape (oils and soft pastel) classes with the artist, Farida Darwish, as well as portrait classes (oils and soft pastel) with the artist, Samy Abdallah until he started to develop his own style and direction in 2015. In March 2018, he moved to Canada aspiring for better art opportunities.El-Gohary participated in several group exhibitions in Cairo in Toronto. He has also recently completed the Mural Art Career Development (MACD) Program offered by Mural Routes.
