I am a full-time artist with a busy practise primarily in commercial muralling. I enjoy the process of adapting my own style and preferred subject matter to the message or intended ambiance of my clients to effectively create a memorable and welcoming space. I take great pleasure in offering creative solutions that push their comfort zones and ultimately leave the client and their customers refreshed and happily surprised. My style is bold, colourful and expressive, often with a dash of graphic styling incorporating geometrics and strategic white or negative space. It is loud and dynamic and has lended itself perfectly to the grand scale of wall art.
I am also breaking into the public scene of street art, adapting my style to spraypaint and more freedom in expression and subject matter. I am primarily a figurative artist, being drawn to the face and the body. My own collection of canvases in oil and acrylic are often portraits with a theme of the strong woman which is further emphasized by my intense saturation and splashy bursts of playful hues. My work empowers without taking itself too seriously. Adapting my style to a new medium and substrate has only further excersized my creativity and versatilty. As my business continues to grow, I’m elated to make more and more connections with other muralists so we may support each other in the attempt to beautify, personify and give character to the city.
