Mural Routes is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant and an Administrative Coordinator, for two 8-week Canada Summer Jobs positions. Click on the job titles below to learn more.

Start date: July 2, 2024
End date: August 26, 2024
Rate of pay: $16.55 per hour, 35 hours per week for 8 weeks.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Tech Lead & Membership Coordinator and Managing Director of Mural Routes, the successful candidate will undertake the following key tasks:

  • Carry out research in prep for data entry
  • Transcribe source data into the required electronic format.
  • Perform data entry using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other computer software.
  • Verify integrity of data by comparing it to source documents.
  • Review data for errors or missing information and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Uses basic office equipment

This position is part of the Canada Summer Jobs program. Applicants must be:

  1. Between 15 – 30 years of age;
  2. A Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
  3. Legally entitled to work in Canada

Reporting to the Managing Director of Mural Routes, the successful candidate will undertake the following key tasks:

  • Developing documentation of current organizational operations procedures
  • Refining workflow through research, feedback and revisions to systems by analyzing current operating practices
  • Ongoing maintenance of digital and physical records
  • Researching ongoing best practices to enhance and supplement current policies
  • Create reporting systems for any newly developed processes
  • Work with staff on additional administrative tasks as needed
